Swing Swing Listening Lizard
is a story written for kids, by kids.
We all read stories to our children, hoping that they take away the right lessons from the stories we know and love. But how are those stories received and stored in their little developing minds? “Swing Swing Listening Lizard!” is an original story conceived (almost) verbatim from the minds of toddlers and gives us all a rare look at how the lessons we all value are interpreted and told by the children we try to teach them to.
Synopsis
When Blendy, the chameleon, ignores his friends and wanders off, he finds himself in the middle of a dangerous situation. Can he get himself out of this jam and learn his lesson in enough time?
Get ready for this cute, colorful, and bizarre story straight from the busy minds of a three and five year old.
This story (surprisingly) covers the following themes for you and your little ones to discuss: Listening, Problem-solving, Patience, Imagination.
Our Project
We are looking for support to help these your readers find the right illustrators, printers, and distributers to bring their first book to life. Here is a descriptive brief and some stills from our early production and images of the book as it shapes into its final project.
